Making of a mother – part 13

We are getting down to the wire here at 38 weeks.  One week from tomorrow until the scheduled C-section.  Nothing happening so far to indicate that the little one is heading into the world early, but who knows what this week will hold.

We decided to go highbrow on the belly pics this week.  No mere snapshots for us.  I was keen to play with my new camera and test out how different lenses worked in certain situations. We battled the harsh sun a bit this morning, and my intuition on which lens would work best wasn’t always right, but we came out with what I think are some great pictures.  You can see the best of them in a set on our Flickr page with our favorites here (click to enlarge):

Making of a Mother – Part 1

Since we just had Mother’s Day, I thought I’d post a few pictures of Beth as she grows as a mother.  And I mean literally grows.  This series will consist of  pictures of her growing belly.  I’m going to post these piecemeal until I catch up to where we are now, a couple of days short of 34 weeks.
